Dementia Friendly Community

Manningtree Town Council received their ‘Dementia Pledge’ certificate for 2024 from the Manningtree District Dementia Friendly Community.

The council have pledged to take action in a variety of ways, from Councillors attending Dementia Awareness training through to adding a link on their website for people to access Dementia support.

The council have also recently arranged for Dementia Awareness sessions to be delivered to the members of the Manningtree Business Chamber, who are keen for Manningtree to become a Dementia Friendly Community.
